Our tree-filled property is home to countless birds. The nearby lagoon and salt flats are vast protected areas.

Travel advice
We have been living and traveling in the region for quite some time. Nothing makes us happier than sitting down with a map and sharing what we know.

Do you want to go somewhere and just be a human for a while?
We are located in La Somone
Next to the ocean and far from the traffic jams of Dakar, La Somone is a convenient jumping off point for the wonderful Sine-Saloum region further south. But it’s much more than a stop off. There is so much to see and do in this little town.
Our GPS coordinates: 14.491347, -17.080880
The easiest way to get to us (if you are coming from the north/the airport) is by taking the A1 autoroute south to the Nguerine/Ngaparou/Somone exit.
All the things
A gorgeous stretch of beach, the lagoon with its mangroves and twisting creeks, water activities of all kinds, fresh fish and seafood, scooter rentals, salt flats and baobab studded countryside. Then there is the local market, the drummers and dancers, and countless artisans.
